Red Hat Exam Study Strategies

Preparing for the Red Hat exams can be a daunting task. The scope of topics covered and depth of knowledge sufficient to withstand even the experienced Linux professionals. Moreover, the success rate is notoriously low. These tests are hard! But this is exactly the Standards so valuable.
Red Hat describes his essays as a "practice" and "hands on", students have to configure the live system. Actual experience is important, but may not be enough by itself. Because so much material to cover the checks, it is often the case that the certification candidate is required to provide services for the review, which never used to set the field. Therefore, the path to success, certification usually includes a combination of practical experience, and practice in both classroom and independent study. I will discuss how to improve your practice and independent study, using methods that worked best for me, as I prepared for RHCSA and RHCE.
To be knowledgeable about many subjects, must begin with the dismantling of the test material into manageable units. Fortunately, Red Hat is part of the job for you.
Red Hat has similar pages for all your advanced certification as well. This list of exam objectives for all topics that are made in a particular test may appear red. As you may notice some of these goals are vague. This is where your work begins, you will use the Red Hat Exam Objectives as a starting point, make a list of items for practice.
Start by inserting the objectives of the review of Red Hat in a text editor of your choice. Under each objective of the test, a list of any action you think you might meet the requirement. By "action" I mean some changes to the system configuration, is a command, installing packages, change a file, etc. If you can think, not a list of all actions for a specific purpose, please contact the relevant pages, the files in / usr / share / doc /, and Deployment Guide Red Hat.
After this task is completed, you have a complete list of all items on the review of Red Hat may seem. Your next step is to ensure that you meet each of the testable items on your list. Start at the top of the list again and, for each action, a list of a number of specific measures to take to complete (to give commands to change configuration files, etc..) This can be completed much time and research. When finished, however, have an exercise regimen discreet and thorough. If you do not know how to perform an action, is in resources. A source in the course also provides guidance on test preparation with useful additional resources.
Now you can start practicing with the confidence that covers everything you need to know. The best way to study is actually going through each and every objective measure, step by step in a living system. If possible get an evaluation copy of the latest version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). Your other options are CentOS and Fedora, but want to make sure you have a version that most resembles the current version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
An actual installation on a physical or virtual machine installation, both are excellent environments to practice in. In my studies, I prefer virtual installations, because I was able to install multiple operating systems, so only test network services through two virtual machines. It is also easier to install new systems or use snapshots to back up configurations at the beginning of each training session.
I would recommend any action or printing on an objective test of 3 "x5" with step by step that developed on the back. Well, if you start the study, each task note card acts as a check without delay. Perform each task to learn in the live system, not just memorize the answers! On successful completion of the task, the card aside. In case of problems contact instructions, steps, and then inserting the card into the bottom of the stack. Continue until no cards are left.
This method can be used for a study grueling sessions (up to six to eight hours, when I started studying), but ensures that each audit objective to reconsider at least once during a study session and that more time is spent in areas that are weak. Of course, this process can last for a few sessions, if you take too long to complete at first. If you take the time to develop good greeting cards, and to investigate routinely, you should have no problem, come exam day.
